For the Emperor!

So I was trawling through some of my mum's wardrobes (at her request) clearing out my old crap for the tip (I haven't lived there for five years so i figure this is fair enough) and I happened upon my old Black Templars 40K army. Looking through the individually compartmentalised red foam storage trays I happened upon this fella:

This is Maximus, my custom built Emperor's Champion- converted from the parts of some four or five figures including; a chaplain, a Space Marine force commander, a Space Marine captain in terminator armour and a few plastic bits and bobs. Now I thought I'd post a photo of him not because he's a cool figure but because I was quite proud of him at the time, proud enough infact to have drawn a picture of him, which you can see below.

I was pretty happy with this sketch too, and it's only the tip of the iceberg so far as Warhammer goes- I have plenty of that stuff knocking around the archives somewhere, I'll be sure to post more in the future.

On a sidenote I still haven't found the oldest of my sketchbooks and pads. I'm forced to conclude that they may be in the garage.... :-S
